Divergent Studio, is a 12-day immersive new music experience for students focused on interdisciplinary tools and holistic creative practices for performers and composers of contemporary music. Featuring collaborations with resident new music ensemble loadbang, guest composers Augusta Read Thomas and Eve Beglarian, and Longy’s cutting-edge contemporary music faculty, participants form a tight-knit community centered around conversations about new directions in musical practice.
