Hi! I’m Sarah!

I hear you and I have been there.

After three degrees in music, I figured I’d know exactly how to have a successful career. But in reality, there was so much I didn’t know.

Even after years of being in the field, I was confused by my dissatisfaction, unfulfillment, and lack of clarity in my career and life.

But I have since learned how to take control of my career.

I’ve worked with top coaches and consultants in the business, gained confidence in my decisions and taken action that achieves results AND fulfillment.

The work I did had such a huge impact on my life that I now coach other musicians to do the same.

I help musicians take their careers from good to GREAT!

• confidently approach opportunities (and get them!) without feeling like you're not worthy.

• artistically align your career with your ideal lifestyle and schedule on your own terms (real talk: you don’t have to drive yourself into the ground to have a thriving career!).

What is my method for Career Coaching?

I’ve been called “a ninja problem-solver” when it comes to unlocking what’s getting in the way of my client's dreams and I use a unique mix of mindset strategy and business savvy to help you create success on your OWN terms.

My Career Coaching method is a customized solution-focused process that will:

• help you gain clarity about what you want

• identify the minimalist approach you need to take (say goodbye to unnecessary work!)

• streamline everything so you know exactly what steps to take in order to reach your goals

Sometimes you find yourself stuck in something that you thought you wanted and now you don’t know how to get out of it.

And even if you DO know what you want, sometimes you might have trouble knowing how to get there.

As your coach, I will help you clarify your vision, (aka. what’s most important to you) and walk you through the steps to get there.

And the secret to all of this is that all of these skills can truly be learned!

It’s not that some people have them, and others don’t.

My methods have helped countless musicians uplevel their careers.

• know how to make things happen and get sh%# done, but often at the expense of boundaries for self-care, time off…(cue burnout perhaps?)

• have perfection tendencies - attention to detail is super important to them, but can make their process excruciating

Why am I a Career Coach for Musicians?

Eight years ago I encountered some serious hand injuries that, in many ways, stopped me dead in my tracks both professionally and personally. I was faced with terrifying uncertainties about my life, both physically and mentally. I lost all of my confidence, developed crippling performance anxiety, fell out of love with playing my violin and couldn’t see any possibility for a future as a professional violinist.

The journey from then until now has taught me more than I could have ever imagined, making the past 8 years transformative in ALL areas of my life.

I rebuilt my confidence in order to see possibility and experience excitement with everything in my life.

I learned how to find joy in my playing, even more so than before my injury.

I learned how to become a master problem solver when confronted with challenges that would have previously derailed me.

I experience happiness, fulfillment and inspiration every day and know I’m aligned with my purpose and vision.

And now I use my experiences and skills to teach others how to do the same.

I have a vision for an empowered music world where it’s the norm for musicians to wake up every day excited about their schedule.

Where do coaching sessions happen?
